So convenient to hospitals!

The hotel is a block from Dana Farber Cancer Center. That's their biggest plus if the patient is able to walk. There are no decent restaurants in the neighborhood, but there are a number of fast food chain restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant with mediocre food that is a bit overpriced. We wished there had been a park or outdoor spot nearby. We were stuck in our room all day. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the cleaning staff is helpful. The front desk staff is my biggest complaint. Some are nice but not well trained while others were rude and welcoming. Because we did not book directly with the hotel, staff would not give a receipt for insurance reimbursement or even tell us how we could get a receipt. We had to figure out on our own how to get a receipt. Be careful that your reservation has a cancellation policy; theirs is very strict. We are looking for another hotel to stay in when we go to Boston for medical care.

The air conditioning in the room was freezing when it wason - no matter what temperature and when it was off it was so hot. Th water pressure in the shower was a joke! Could not wash my hair. We also got the last parking spot in the garage and we had to wait a while to get it. The restaurant in the hotel was closed on the weekends! That made no sense to me. For $500 would NOT recommend.

This is my second time staying here when I’ve had a family member in the hospital. The front desk staff is always borderline rude and act like you’re bothering them, even if you’re simply checking in. It’s such a shame as most people staying there are either patients or patient families who could use a little compassion or friendliness

I wasn’t overly impressed with this hotel. My son was having surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital so we needed somewhere close. It was expensive per night & it was just an okay hotel. I don’t even know what “amenities” they were referring to. The restaurant that they recommend, The Longwood Grille & Bar is so overpriced for mediocre food. Nothing there was worth the $20 a dish. The only good thing about this hotel is their extreme proximity to the hospital & they have comfortable beds.

Just whet we needed the room was perfect, clean, location to T’s was awesome.

We had such an amazing stay. Super fast check-in, great room, totally walkable to all of the main attractions. We went to a concert at Fenway and it was awesome to just walk to the venue and back. We also walked to Newberry Street. Would highly recommend.

Parking was easy. Only downside was that when we opened the curtains for natural light, we were greeted with a view of some hallway!

Stayed here just 1 night for an event at Fenway park on a Saturday. Had 4 people in one room with 2 queen beds. There was also a pull out couch but we just shared the beds. Main room was basic but spacious. Bathroom was pretty tiny but functioned. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Our room overlooked the food court, which was kind of funky. But it was convenient to be able to run downstairs for a snack or coffee. The vending machine and water machine were both broken, so the only option for drinking water was to fill a cup at the bathroom sink. Check in was easy, and having on-site parking was amazing. It was an easy walk to Fenway, and the area felt safe. I would definitely stay again if I was attending a local event and just needed a landing spot to sleep and get ready.
