I stayed the night to attend a local wedding venue. Gemma spoke with me on the phone and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. When I arrived Jason at the check in desk was so kind and moved heaven and earth to get me a room that was ready so that I could change and leave for the wedding. Both staff members were so kind and welcoming and professional. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Breakfast was excellent value cooked breakfast and continental great value. Neither of my two rooms had been cleaned properly but the manager did grab a bar member and go straight over and cleaned both rooms immediately and offered us free drinks.

Toilet seat in room was covered with dried urine, so obviously not been cleaned. Had a shower before we left this morning and there was black pubic hair in the bath which definitely didn't belong to me. We used the app last night to order a meal for some reason this hadn't gone through, we questioned why our meal hadn't been served and that is when we realised. We had travelled from Lincolnshire so didn't arrive till after 8pm, the chef was absolutely brilliant and sorted us out with a meal even though the kitchen had closed so big credit and call out to the chef, thank you so much for your compassion! The guy who checked us in was lovely and friendly alo g with the bar staff. Just a shame about the room cleanliness.

Convenient location for my trip. Staff excellent. Car parking safe.

The check in is in the pub which is fine. Friendly greeting. Parking very close so that's great. Room big. Basic. Shower good. Room has the distant smell of cigarettes. Probably lingering in the sofa bed. My company laptop and mobile wouldn't accept the Marston's WiFi so I had to toggle from my personal phone. Nearby M&S was perfect as I didn't want to dine in the pub.

Staff were all extremely nice and helpful. Nice breakfast. Electric charger not working. Not the end of the world as there are chargers round the corner by Tkmaxx
