Room needs refurbishing.

This hotel is very tired. Check in was 3pm, yet many of the rooms were not ready until after 4pm. Other customers (Mainly overseas tourists) were given a drink voucher because their room wasn't ready, but we weren't or neither was another Kiwi guest. We eventually asked for one about 1/2 hour later & were given one. The bar area where people were waiting for their rooms wasn't big enough to accommodate everyone. Rooms had been updated but bathrooms were tired. The shower was very small & the lighting over the mirror was very dim, no good for my wife putting on her makeup. The food was excellent & so was the heated swimming pool, although there were no towels in the area, they had all been used & not topped up. Location is good & the views are lovely.

I spent three nights at the Millennium and found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate, and my ground floor room was stylish, clean, and spacious, with a lovely lake view and a patio. The bathroom amenities were excellent, even including a spare bath. The pool and gym were conveniently nearby and much appreciated. The restaurant served good food along with stunning views of the lake, and with the fine weather, I enjoyed relaxing on the patio, taking in the lake and mountain scenery. The lakeside walkway just outside the patio was a great bonus. My only gripe was the poor TV reception.

Parking was easy, love the location on the lake edge, staff were friendly and helpful, obliging...definitely will stay again.

Great hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Service was outstanding and amenities very clean and comfortable - great value!
