I should start by noting that Hotel Kompas is not in old town as we were with some people who did not understand how big and spread-out Dubrovnik is. With that said, our stay at Hotel Kompas came at just the right time in our trip. We were tired when we arrived here and this was the perfect place to recharge. Situated on a cliff with direct access to the bay, it is really impressive. You enter on the top floor and everything else moves down the hill toward the bay. The views are really beautiful. We had a room with a balcony and could not get enough of the views. The amenities were also excellent. If you want drinks and food with a view, they have multiple choices. If you want to lounge in the pool, it overlooks the bay. If you want spa amenities, there is a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, etc. The staff is really friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. It was a great stay.

Very nice located near the water and close by shops and cafe

We stayed just one night at Hotel Kompass before joining a group tour at another location. Staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable with great views over the Adriatic. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner and a wonderful walking path just outside of the hotel to explore the area.

Great location. Everyone on staff was helpful, rooms and property were extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious! Only complaint was there were often not enough lounge chairs by the pool so be sure to get there early. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were very welcoming on our arrival and saw us up to our room. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Lots of choice for breakfast. Location is great with a lovely coastal path in one direction, a busy street with shops and restaurants in the other and a pebble beach just outside. Short walk to the marina and a short drive to the old town. The pool is very cold but refreshing. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel Kompass is located in a beautiful spot by the sea yet close enough to the old town that you can go there in 10mn. The staff was very helpful , always smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were all taken care off. A special mention to Martina at breakfast thanks to whom we always started our days with a big smile. The pool was clean with enough chairs for everyone. Lots of restaurants at a walking distance. The view was amazing from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Kostas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we would especially like to mention the breakfast restaurant team for their outstanding service. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The promenade near the hotel is also highly recommended, both for swimming and enjoying cocktails.

Great location and the hotel is really modern and well maintained. Staff were great too. Would definitely stay here again.
