Check in, nice and easy. It has only 1 lift and it’s very small, no more than 4 people, so at busy times there is a queue. Room was adequate, a little on the small side and a bit dated, but fine for one night. Lovely to have a coffee machine, but a shame we didn’t have any tea bags. Good location for central London. Breakfast pricing however was very expensive.

Brilliant location

Pleasant stay. Rooms clean and reception friendly

This hotel is located minutes from a tube station as well as a 3min walk from the British Museum and 5min walk from several streets of shopping and food. Great location, rooms were comfortable (small by US standards but not tiny) the breakfast was great. Bartender was wonderful.

Great location. Several bits not working or missing in the room, basic things that I would expect to be checked by housekeeping.

TV didn’t work in our room. No aerial and it we couldn’t get the built in chrome cast to work

hotel and rooms are very old

Stated that there would be 24/7 room service which turned out not to be true. The tiniest shower I’ve ever experienced. Felt like a claustrophobic nightmare. Lots of things in the room didn’t work - phone, hair dryer, etc. The staff was incredibly nice but the prices are very high and didn’t think it was worth it.

The public places/ reception/ lounge/ bar all good. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The pillows also very comfortable. The bathroom had some black mould in one corner of the bath/ shower screen and wasn’t up to standard of cleanliness. A cup still had lipstick stains on it. The carpet in the corridor and room were stained. The breakfast was of a good standard but there was a lack of spare napkins and cutlery in easy access .

Staff was so helpful. Room was clean with lovely views and nice bathroom. A/C didn’t work well, but they gave us a fan.
