Amazing stay - Clean, quiet and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

It was wonderful great facilities, staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make the stay extra special.

I really wanted to love this hotel - lovely staff, stylish refurb of a heritage building, handy for central station. A couple of things that didn’t work quite as well, no real breakfast service (complimentary coffee and a couple of mini pastries are included), checkin can be a bit of a wait as the same staff are working the cocktail bar and acting as reception, no room servicing during my stay leaving me without coffee pods, clean cups etc. bar menu a bit odd - many people reviewed it and then didn’t order anything. Staff very helpful when I did ask to change rooms and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The heritage rooms can be quite small, and those next to the lift can be quite disrupted by the noise.

I booked last minute and probably got the worst room (203) - it was a bit dingy, the tiles in the bathroom were stained/dirty... etc. I asked for room cleaning on the second morning and the bed was made haphazardly (i could have done better) and the glasses from the night before weren't taken away, new towels were thrown over the bathtub. Just a bit underwhelming for $400 a night. However, the free drinks and the staff at the bar - 10/10. The bed was also extremely comfortable. I met the manager, Alison, before I left, who almost turned my experience around. She was lovely!! I would have hesitated to book again, however meeting her gives me a reason to give the hotel a second chance ;)

Of you’re every in Brisbane, this is the place to stay. The attention to detail in maintaining its heritage character was wonderful. The large well appointed room and bathroom was appreciated. Five minutes down the hill to restaurants and a further five minutes to the botanical gardens made this a very accessible location. Loved our one night stay there.

Beautiful property, amazing staff and great location - walking distance to drinks at Howard smith wharves and then dinner in the city. Loved our stay so much!
