A wonderful space to relax and appreciate Grimsey xx fab coffee and we had the whole house to ourselves. Anne-Marie was kind enough to let us stay until the ferry left at 4pm

This unique property is close to the ferry, no car needed. Puffins are everywhere in June and July! Lovely hikes. There is a complete kitchen and nice sitting area. There is a small store with limited hours and a resetaurant very close to the property. Rooms are very cozy.

The stairs are a little challenging for seniors. Can use more hooks for hanging towels and coats. Kitchen facilities are useful. Sitting room is comfortable.

Excellent host

The rooms are accessible through a steep ladder and a trap door. All rooms and the shared bathroom are extremely basic and tiny. On the bright side, the rooms are sufficiently heated and provide shelter ... and in the absence of sufficient alternative accommodation, that is worth a lot already.

This property is very unique. Clean, organized and offers many incredible views of the beautiful landscapes.

My room was very cozy and comfortable. I opened my window at night and it was so nice to hear nothing but the birds singing. The guest house is very well maintained and I enjoyed talking with Anna Marie and her mother. I would like to thank Anna Marie for her help in getting back my passport which I had left in my room. I can never re-pay her for that. I hope to visit Grimsey again in the not too distant future. Thank you.

An excellent stay. We could have spent another night. It was was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend. The owner was a very helpful and congenial person.

Birds, birds everywhere. No photo bombers here at the island.

The staff took exceptional care of us. So kind and personable. Truly made us feel cared about. Wish I could keep them as my friends.
