Secrets Mirabel was the best resort we have ever stayed at! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the whole property was clean and updated. I tried the spa for a massage and hydrotherapy treatment. The attention to detail and service was phenomenal!! All of our dining options were perfect, buffet has great options, and table service was amazing (had reservations at Blue Water Grill and Teppanyaki experience). I recommend this resort for a relaxing, chill, vacation or honeymoon.

The property was beautiful. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Plenty of pool chairs with shade.

The resort itself is beautiful, and many staff members were genuinely excellent, but unfortunately our overall experience fell short of what we expect from a luxury property. Our biggest disappointment was the handling of the restaurant dress code on our first evening at Bluewater Grill. We fully respect that restaurants can have dress codes. Our concern was never the existence of the policy, but the inconsistent way it was explained and enforced. After waiting approximately 90 minutes, we were ultimately denied entry while other guests wearing similar attire were allowed inside. When we asked for clarification, the explanation changed multiple times. First, we were told that sandals and Crocs were not allowed. Later, Hugo explained that the no-sandals rule only applied to gentlemen. During our subsequent discussion with management, Glacia told us that leather sandals for gentlemen were acceptable. None of these explanations matched the published dress code, which simply states that sandals are not permitted. This inconsistency was the source of our confusion from the very beginning. What made the experience more disappointing was not simply being asked to follow a dress code, but how the situation was handled. Our initial interaction with the hostess Nube set an unwelcoming tone, and even after we were eventually seated, there was little acknowledgement of the inconvenience.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful resort! Most of the food was delicious and the staff were all very accommodating!

We just got back from a 5 day stay at Secrets Maribel. We really enjoyed our 9th floor ocean front plunge pool. The food was overall good despite longer wait times when dining. Plan on spending at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours per restaurant in the evening. Our favorite restaurant was the Bluewater Grill. The Tomahawk steak was delicious and very reasonably priced. Don’t forget to mention the 10% off coupon in the APP! Ernesto & Eric at the Sky Bar were friendly and attentive. I enjoyed making bracelets at the preferred pool with Evelin. Jerry at the preferred pool bar made great drinks! The Spa was amazing … definitely recommend the hydrotherapy followed my a massage - Maria & Cielo were wonderful. This property is definitely on the smaller side. However, the property is very nice and well-designed! We also had the pleasure of seeing the turtles come to shore on two nights!! It was a memorable and heartwarming experience. -Melissa & Chris

Great hotel for a more tourist experience, preferred club is totally worth it and I loved it , would have had love a more Mexican cuisine but other than that really can’t say anything bad !

The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and made the experience one of the best. Food was great at the restaurants. The buffet was solid. The 24hr CoCo Cafe had incredible desserts. The pools, the beach view, and overall vibe was 10/10, exceptional. My Wife and I upgraded to the Preferred Club. I cut my leg when I dropped a glass in my room on my 1st night and the on-site life guards and first aid staff took great care of me. We will be back. Especially because I was not able to take advantage of the preferred pool access which my Wife enjoyed while I sat on the patio. We plan on being back!!!! Loved everything about it!!!
