The place is well situated and is good value for the price!

This hotel was an okay spot but the room quality was not as pictured for our room. The bed sheets had some hair that was not ours and the bathroom shower seemed to have some mold in the tiles. Also the bathroom door did not close properly and the room had a musty odor. The a/c was loud and it was hard to sleep at times. With that the location is good, the staff is helpful, and is okay for a quick night stay but I would not stay here multiple days.

Check in was very efficiently managed by the very elegant and charming Olga. The kitchen area, and the terrace are clean and tidy, and well equipped should you wish to cook your own meals. My room was clean and well equipped. The single bed was really too small to be comfortable. If I had known that the single room had a single bed I would have booked the double room. The location is very convenient for everything that Faro has to offer. Happy House is very good value for money. When I visit Faro again I will check for vacancies at Happy House first.

Located right in the centre of Faro I used it as I had an early flight so it was perfect as less than a 10 minute Uber ride from the airport. Staff were helpful and explained everything i needed to know about the place on arrival

Great friendly welcome to a lovely small, well-maintained facility where the host has thoughtfully considered the little things that make staying there great (such as water/tea/coffee etc and indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy).

The room was nice. There is the use of a kichen which was helpful. Be warned that if you are driving there is no parking around the hotel, meters are up to a maximum of three hours. We were told there was free parking 4 minutes away, but this is not the case! I did find a street where you can park, but I would not leave the space I had found for 2 1/2 days as I would not be able to park again. If you are not travelling by car, the hotel is nice.

Great location, clean room and friendly staff

The entire facility was very clean and updated. The room was good sized and access to the full kitchen and terrace was so nice to have. Location is perfect, can walk to everything.

This may have been a case of misaligned expectations on my part. I thought it was a small basic hotel but it felt more like a basic private room hostel. The location seemed a bit sketchy and run down. Having never been to Faro, I didn’t know what options were available and this had fair reviews so I selected it. If I were to go back to Faro I’d stay elsewhere. There were larger, more mainstream options in town. They just weren’t listed on Expedia. I’d do ax general hotel search and stay at a different hotel next time.
