I chose this hotel for three reasons, it was in the old town, it had a shuttle to the Canton fair, and the rooms had kitchens. I was staying for a long time and I wanted to be able to cook for myself. When I got to the room, it had a kitchen with a nice dishwasher, but nothing to cook with or eat with so there’s no point to they’re being a kitchen. It isn’t a nice location with an old town. And it has a nice view of the river. It’s a building is in serious need of a renovation. Everything was worn down. The buffet is not very good and so I stopped eating at it and just went out and got food. The shuttle truck an hour and 15 minutes to get to the fair. It took half the time to take the metro so that’s what I started doing though the room needed to be renovated or refurbished. It was clean. I had a problem with my remote control for the TV working, not working. I told the front desk but they never did anything about it. Also, I had a no smoking room, but the people in the rooms next to me must’ve been smoking cause my room always smell like smoke. I changed rooms twice and they all have the same problems if I had time I would’ve changed hotels

Nice utility hotel. Staff were very helpful. They have a shuttle bus for the Canton fair, which was very helpful. The hotel is right on the river, which makes for a pleasant evening walk. Breakfast was average, could be better. Stunning views from the floor where breakfast is served. Overall a good place to stay.

Rooms are big and price point is low, however, not a lot of things around but cabs are cheap and quick.

Overall place was good. However, when we were checking in, after spending about 5mins checking us in, 3 local ladies walk in with ID cards to check in - he stops what he’s doing with us and checks them in first, then proceeds to complete our check in. What happened to asking them to wait in line like everyone else? Also, when we asked for an extra keycard, they got so annoyed? One of us uses the gym and you need a keycard to get in and out. The same keycard is what keeps the lights and ac on in the room. Who checks in 2 guests and gives them 1 keycard? Then gets annoyed when we asked for a second one the next day? We told them nvm and walked away. Staff needs better training.

They rented a room to me with WIFI equipment problem (which they had known in advance), and I had to request changing to a room w/ working equipment! Plus the fridge is there but can't be turned on.

Polite and helpful Frontline staff, housekeeping staff and technical staff. Impressed by the timely response, usually within 10 minutes for housekeeping and technical assistances. Spacious & clean room although the room could be brighter. The hotel is by the roadside, but there was no twice noise, my room is just opposite the lift lobby, but it is quiet. Very good sound proofing. The rooms come with excellent river view. Likely to stay here again.
