Family owned small hotel, in the middle of the forest. The hosts were wonderful! They drove us everywhere we needed in Kawaguchiko, gave us bicycle for free and took us to wonderful places for dinner.
Although they do not know much English they go out of their way to make sure they understand you and you understand them.

極佳 We had a lovely first rate stay at the onsen pension house. The owners went out of their way to make our stay wonderful, from making dinner recommendations and arranging shuttle to dinner and the local train station, to personal touches like the delicious home cooked breakfast. We got a room with a private onsen, which I highly recommend. However, if these are not available, there is also a shared onsen that my friends highly recommended.
I cant thank them enough for the highlight of our trip to Japan.
