Lovely hotel and location

Historic old mill, wonderful location, especially if you love running water.. Staff were exceedingly helpful, especially Dylan and Tracey. All in very good. Senior management would help by getting plumbing problems fixed asap, and staffing up for big events.

Beautiful setting. My room overlooked the mill and the sound soothed me to sleep. Room well appointed. Very clean. Very attentive staff.

We were told this building was 960 years old. It is very delightful and a wonderful walk to town. Dinner was amazing - we had the bang bang chicken and steak frites, plus chocolate mousse. Every bite was fabulous! Kuddos to the chef. I would say the "king" bed is more like a queen in the United States, and there was a lot of pub noise, but it all quieted down after 10:30 - so we slept very well. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Lovely setting. Quaint. Not a great pub meal. Narrow stairs. Great staff.

Clean room . Beautiful location

I am so coming back here! The staff were outstanding - really helpful and friendly. Beautiful rooms, clean and tidy. The location is amazing. Excellent breakfast. (The only negative was that it said food was served 5pm-8.30pm, but it didn't say that this wasn't on a Sunday! However, one of the barmen suggested another place which we went to, and was amazing).

Very enjoyable

The staff on reception were less than helpful. The room was on the top floor, my 70 year old bones struggled. Definitely not worth the money. On a positive note, externally it is a beautiful building and surround.

Great little pub by the water with heaps of personality. A climb of 2 flights of stairs but luckily we didn’t have much luggage to take up. Great breakfast and friendly owner.
