It is ok to stay, but not really like. Room is small

The photos do not represent this accommodation at all. It might be fine for an adventurous backpacker, but we are a family traveling with 2 kids looking for a slightly higher standard of cleanliness (mid-range hotel) and we were extremely disappointed. We always do a quick bedbug check of mattresses when we check in, and we were disgusted by the state of the mattresses in the SOHO: there were blood stains all over one (possible sign of bedbugs) and the other was very poorly degraded. The general state of the room was poor. There was hair and an old contact lens on the floor. There were stains on the walls. We did not stay the night. We left immediately and booked a very nice room in the Novotel Saigon Centre. We communicated our concerns with the operator, and they offered to clean the room again for us. Based on the type of mess, we declined the offer in favour of the pleasant and clean Novotel. When I complained about the stained mattress, I was told it wasn’t a big deal because the mattresses would be covered with sheets. Our refund request was rejected. Based on the price and the photos, we expected a lot better. Don’t book this one - spend a small amount more on a proper hotel.
