Character hotel in top location with great staff and food.

It was a wonderful stay! The hotel owner is very friendly and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel is very close to the ski lift — you can take the lift up to the top of the mountain and ski directly back to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient! The food is delicious, and the overall ski environment is great for all ski lovers.

This property is just perfect with a location hard to beat. I am more of a 5 star hotel kind of person. However, this property was exceptional. Clean, tidy warm. The hosts were friendly, generous and kind. Always available to help. It is fantastic to experience this multigenerational hotel legacy. Now let’s talk location!! Ski in ski out, the chair lift and run are right outside your door, the the main ski base building just 200m away. Also don’t fear the walk to the property over snow with luggage the hosts have thought of everything. They have a motorised a luggage trolly that fitted our 2 large bags and skis easily. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will always remember the amazing arrival experience and location.

Incredible property right on the snow next to the ski lift. It was perfect to be able to ski in and out as we pleased. The staff were super helpful and lovely.

We appreciated the friendliness and help from the staff. The area is beautiful any season of the year. We highly recommend Der Barte.

amazing place that comes with hot tub room that one can booked for personal use with a view on the skiing slope. amazing location if you are into skiing. the bad part of the hotel is that path to the hotel are covered by snow and it is not obvious to visitors if you are there for the first time and have to drag your luggage through the thick snow.

The couple who run the hotel are very charming and the location is great (right on the slopes), but if you're looking for fine food, great rooms and bathrooms, please look elsewhere. I was on the slopes all day and got a nice, but small breakfast and ate outside for dinner. If you have a fussy partner, don't bring them here :)
