Very easy to find the property, easy self check in instructions. Great recommendations given for near by places for food and drink. Clean room and comfy bed. Only down point to the room is a floor piece trim could be put down between bedroom and bathroom due to the different height of flooring it’s a toe stubber opportunity. Property itself very presentable with it being next to a main road there wasn’t much road traffic noise. Not extremely noisy in the bar below wasn’t able to gain the experience of the bar on the ground floor as it had a private event or a gig on our last night so unable to attend which was unfortunate. Very easy to get around bus stop located just over the road which 10/15 minutes your in the centre of Oxford. Or if walking 20 ish minutes just following the main road. Overall a good stop over and the property had everything we needed for our stay.

The hotel is in a good location and within walking distance of the City centre. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the only negative was the noise in our bedroom from the karaoke bar below us.

Beautiful room, I loved the theme and everything was so clean and organized. Would definitely stay there again!

Pre-visit ID check requires you to provide a photo of your passport, hopefully that sort of information is either deleted immediately or protected against hackers .... You won't get the PIN to access the property / your room until this pre-check is complete so look out for their email (which went into my junk folder as it has links). Overall not pleased with the quality of communications. This is a repurposed corner pub, furnishing could be described as quirky or just cheap depending on your POV, narrow stairs and trip hazards might be a bit tricky for some, overall it felt a bit tatty. The downstairs bar was in full swing when we got back a 11pm, that explained why the host had provided earplugs .....

Thank you for providing a spacious, clean well equipped room for our 5 night stay. It was lovely to have a dining/work table and chairs. Beds were extremely comfortable, great shower. Location was ideal for exploring Oxford and beyond. Assistance with luggage was greatly appreciated

Beautifully decorated, rooms very clean Staff were helpful

This is a pub with hotel rooms upstairs; the stairs up are narrow and have tight turns, but we got our carryon size suitcases upstairs, no problem. We had the Queen's Boudoir room, which was large, comfortable, and had everything we needed: TV, coffee/tea, hot shower, large bed, desk, chairs, etc. Very comfortable. There was a band playing downstairs on the Wed. night we were here, but it was hardly audible up in the room, and we slept just fine. There was some minor bumping around from the room upstairs a few times a day, but in general, this room was very quiet. There's not many rooms in this hotel, and we didn't run into any other guests during our 4 day stay. It's about 5-10min walk to Magdalen College and another 5-10min to the Bodleian library and other sights, and it's a beautiful walk, when you get over the river and by the botanic gardens, and into the main area. This was a perfect place for use to explore Oxford from! Getting here from LHR was easy: use the Airline bus and stop at St. Clement's. On the way out, there is a bus stop across the street for the 3/3A to the rail station, or you can walk (we walked).

We weren’t too excited when we arrived here. The outside front was full of rubbish and the area wasn’t the best. After 6 flights of stairs we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was clean and modern, the bathroom was new and clean and had a shower recess which you don’t always get in the UK. The bed was comfy and we were happy to have a good sized tv. It needed a basket for the tea and sugar and bits and pieces as it was all put in the cups which we then had to tip it all out to use.

Room was quirky, clean and had good amenities (perhaps only missing an iron?) with a particularly good shower and comfortable bed. The location is great, not in centre but a nice walk with plenty of cafe’s, restaurants and bars nearby. Only downside’s We stopped on a Friday and Saturday night and it was noisy from the bar/karaoke downstairs till circa 1am, (we had fun guessing what the song was) however they do warn you when booking and provide ear plugs. Also the stairs are quite steep but again they have plenty of warning and offer assistance if required. Overall thought it was good value for Oxford

The room was perfect, the place is perfectly located (I realized when I got there that this is where the Cricketer's Arms used to be, long ago), and it was exactly what I needed at a brilliant price. I'll book here again.
