We were very pleased with everything about Mythodea! From the great service to book transportation, to restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect with am astonishing view of the Acropolis on the rooftop terrace. Within walking distance and in the heart of a lively neighbohood. Strongly recommend Mythodea for your stay in vibrant Athens, hosted by a team who really enjoy taking care of their guests!

The location is everything! Close to everything, we were there for two days and would come back again.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this property! Communication through Whatsapp was perfect and they even arranged transportation for us. They will make sure that you are all set to arrive at the hotel on your own through public transport or taxis. They were so helpful and SO nice! Our plane landed after the reception opening hours but they send you detailled instructions with videos on how to get in so there's no way you will get stranded And the location!!! Just perfect! 16 minutes walk to the Acropolis (not sure from where Expedia got the 2 minutes walk). You are in the middle of Plaka so you are surrounded by stores, restaurants, etc .. They have a rooftop with beautiful views of the Acropolis on one side and the rest of Athens on the other side. We loved EVERY minute of it and we HIGHLY recommend! Thank you so much John, Konstantinos and Yannis for making our stay so stress free! We'll be back!

Since we arrived the owner and his nephew were helpful, attentive and friendly. They even help us with our luggage through the street of Athens since the main street was under construction. The room was very neat and clean. They gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. The hotel is in a nice and central area in front of a plaza with many shops and taverns and also near by all the sightseeing areas. Its close enough of the main night scene so you can walk to the area, but its far enough where you can get a good night sleep. I will highly recommend this place.

The location was superb, with Hadrian’s Library and the Roman Forum being a few steps away, at the end of the street. There were amazing views (especially at night) of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. Konstantinos and Yannis were great hosts, very solicitous, checking in every day. The property is highly recommended, you can’t go wrong to use it for exploring all of of Central Athens as most sites can be reached on foot. There is also a great diversity of restaurants, food shopping and lively activities.

Great place - in every way

Konstantinos was wonderful! He was extremely welcoming and made sure to check in daily to ensure we had everything we needed. He arranged our transportation from the airport/port and gave us recommendations for local eats/activities. The apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay, we loved the balcony and roof top terrace to see the city. The location was in the heart of the city center and in walking distance to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to everyone!

Our room was modern and clean . It was centrally located which was so close to restaurants and shipping.

We truly enjoyed our stay here! We had a short stay in Athens and wanted somewhere close to the Acropolis. This was the perfect location to be in the heart of everything. The room itself was very spacious, modern, and clean. It was very nice to have the balcony to have a private space outside. The managing staff were very helpful and arranged taxis for us from our ferry port/ to the airport. Would highly recommend!
