Overall, we had a great stay at Next Door Athens. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the location was excellent. There were so many great restaurants, bars, and things to do within walking distance, which made exploring Athens really convenient. The only downsides were that the Wi-Fi was pretty slow, so we weren’t able to stream Netflix on the room’s TV, and the shower didn’t do a great job of keeping the water contained, so the bathroom floor got wet easily. Overall, we’d still recommend it for the location, cleanliness, and convenience.

The shower pressure alone is worth returning to Greece. Neat cafe, fantastic staff, close to metro and everything acropolis.

Everything was great but the AC was not able to cool the room. We were there 3 nights in July, and all of the nights we were hot. One cannot leave the AC running during the day because the key to the room is also the key to the electricity. When you arrive at your room after an entire day out the AC has to start from zero to cool the room. It will be a great place to stay during the shoulder season but not for the summer. * there is also a design problem, the room is shaped as an L and the AC is too far from the bed. Maybe having the AC on the wall on top of the bed would alleviate the problem.

Exceeded expectations. Would stay again for sure. Not a 24 hr hotel so check in runs a bit quirky, in a good way. Check in at the adjoined bakery. My check in easy. Not sure about after hours.

Super cute rooms! Had a sink and some dishes in the room which is always nice when you’re travelling. Great location too, close to everything. We stayed in two places in Athens and this was our favourite!

Great location. Very clean, convenient and modern. Our host Marina was wonderful and attentive. Will definitely stay here again. You should as well if you want to stay close to Monasteraki.

The room was cute and clean and I got great recommendations on what to do around.

Decent location but it’s more a hostel than a hotel with no proper reception and no access to elevator after certain hours

Marina was helpful and friendly. The room was great - spacious and clean and great amenities. Very walkable location. the cafe downstairs was handy.
