Loved the view overlooking the castle - could sit in the cozy chair and stare out at the view. Easy access to the metro and nice walkable neighbourhood. The staff were amazing helping us organize adjoining rooms for our family and a late check out as our flight was in the evening. Kids loved the pool and the breakfast was delicious.

While we genuinely enjoyed our stay at Osaka Castle. The location is excellent. Being directly opposite Osaka Castle is incredibly special. It is also very convenient to the train station, making it easy to explore Osaka and beyond. Although this isn't the busiest tourist area, we actually enjoyed that. If you spend a little time wandering the surrounding streets, you'll find some fantastic local restaurants tucked away. It felt a little more relaxed than staying in the heart of Dotonbori while still being extremely accessible. We chose a river view room rather than paying the additional cost for a castle view, I'm actually very pleased we did. Watching the river, trains and city come alive each morning became one of my favourite parts of the stay. You still enjoy beautiful views of Osaka Castle from the breakfast restaurant, so for us, the river view offered the best of both worlds. The room itself was modern, clean and comfortable. However, if you are travelling with 3 adults with the rollaway bed option and luggage, there was not much room left to move around for a long stay so we booked an additional room after arrival. The restaurant staff deserve recognition, were always polite, helpful and accommodating. The reception experience, however, was probably the biggest disappointment. The front desk staff here felt noticeably unwelcoming. Nothing was necessarily wrong, just lacking some warmth and care.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Osaka Castle. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views of Osaka Castle and an easy walk to the train station, We also discovered some excellent restaurants in the quieter surrounding streets, which was a nice change from the busier tourist areas. We chose a river view room instead of paying extra for a castle view, and I'm so glad we did. Watching the river, trains and city each morning was a highlight, and you still get wonderful views of Osaka Castle from the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of Western and Japanese options. The restaurant staff were always friendly, helpful and accommodating. While some seemed a little less experienced, their genuine effort and willingness to help was great. The reception staff were a bit of a down side, they weren't unfriendly, but I felt they lacked the warmth and customer service I would expect from a Hilton hotel. Really just seemed very disinterested compared to the other hotels in Japan The indoor pool was lovely, although the compulsory swim cap rule was fine but odd when my partner, who is completely bald, was still required to wear one :) One thing to be aware of is the room size for a third guest. We booked one room for three adults with a rollaway bed, but once our luggage was inside, there was barely any space to move. We ended up booking another room. This setup may suit a family with minimal luggage or a small child

The breakfast was very generous, double even, we had access at the executive lounge and at the main dining area. A lot of personal attention from Aki the breakfast host was lovely. We had a slight hitch with our very fancy Japanese toilets was a bit of a let down. The views over the river onto the city and the castle were worth every hour spent earning every dollar we spent.

Staff are very courteous and helpful. Cleaning was excellent and can back when had had left DND all. Highly recommend.

Close to convenience stores, walking distance to mall. Close to transportation. For Japan standards, rooms are very spacious. Pool was very nice

Very nice and clean hotel near the Osaka Castle. We are very pleased to stay there
