Clean n spacious. No reception. No checkin instructions until i called. Old needing refresh. Close to beach n supermarket. Expensive for quality n condition.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach, restaurants, Woolworths, and other shops.

Our studio unit was just what we wanted; a short stroll to the restaurants and supermarkets.The unit we had was a 'Lockwood style', so lots of timber. We wanted a base for 3 days to visit relatives. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well; we didn't cook meals but could have as the kitchen seemed well equipped. Everything in the unit was for 2 people, so 2 wine glasses etc. The exterior of the property is a bit unkempt; this could have been due to the wild weather we experienced but I still think a bit of a grounds tidy-up would not go amiss. Access was via a lock-box, so no reception. Our email indicated that the on-site cleaners did not speak English; however we found them very good and helpful.. We were able to communicate through a phone based language translation app, and it worked well. Would we stay there again, yes. It was great value for money.

Notre séjour de 2 nuits était bien dans l’ensemble. Le check in ne s’est pas fait avec le manager des lieux car la personne était absente d’après la pancarte donc la femme de ménage nous a gentiment orienté vers notre appartement de 2 chambres et a débloqué le boîtier pour la clé. Heureusement, car nous ne connaissions pas le code de notre lockbox. Notre logement était propre toutefois une odeur de renfermé se faisait sentir, peut-être à cause de la moquette usée des chambres. Pour finir, le motel est situé au cœur de Orewa avec les restaurants, magasins à proximité et surtout non loin de la merveilleuse plage. Un emplacement idéal.

It was good, quite, clean but the furnishings stay so old the sofa and headlight bed didn't work . rest is all good.

Great value for money. Older motel but clean and convenient to beach, supermarkets, restaurant, bars.....everything you need is in walking distance.
