Moulds in rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms do

I dont know where the other reviewers stayed, but it couldn't have been the Azzurro. The building was very run down, and everywere was dirty. The bathrooms weren't clean and although there were signs everywhere saying there was cleaning stuff under the sinks there wasn't any and I looked in 4 bathrooms! Luckily I was only there one night and I arrived late so went straight to bed. My room was really smelly and filthy. There were clothes and shoes all over the place. Dirty socks on the floor and a pair of trainers on the window ledge (presumably because they smelt!) And there was a large fan in the room with the cover missing. Presumably because the air conditioning wasn't working! I only wish I'd taken more pictures... but I couldn't wait to get out of there. I didn't see any staff, only a virtual assistant on the front desk. And although I checked out with her at 7am, I got a message at 10am reminding me to check out. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The condition of the bedrooms and amenities rooms were pretty much as I expected so I can’t really complain. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and Florence who I spoke to when checking in was fantastic

Bed is great, thank you

Staff was great very helpful. Food was very good . Location is amazing for a first timer who wanted to see things within walking distance.

Room is clean, helpful staff

Hostel has a quaint, rustic charm. I could see they’re taking active steps to address areas that need attention, such as improving ventilation. They have some problems, like lack of bathrooms, but they are offset by the price.
