The staff at the Roza Palace were amazing. Super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience.

Great place to stay.

Business-friendly. There is some smell in the toilet, but overall it is still OK

Everything was amazing. The decor of the hotel is out of a novel, nestled on a mountain side, our room had a private balcony on a mountain ledge. Room was clean and worked well for our excursions into town and to explore the areas.

This is a lower end hotel made to look from appearances like and awesome place! The hot water literally last for about 2-3 minutes for a shower and then you have to wait another 15-20 minutes for more hot water for only 2-3 minutes worth of hot water. It’s impossible for 2 people to take a shower unless it’s together and very rushed but still you will have ice cold water 1/2 way through your shower. There was also a very loud party in the 3rd floor on the outside balcony that kept us up into the night around 22:00 with then singing karaoke extremely loud. Most tour start early so this made us get minimal sleep having to wake up at 6:00am. We had 1 power outlet next to the bed and the Air conditioner hardly worked. We messaged the hotel through hotels.com with our complaints before posting this review and they never responded. We even complained to hotels.com customer service and they messaged the hotel and still no response.

Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water. The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work.

Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. With non-beach water, there isn’t that much to do. Roza Palace, is a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Reception staff very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms ok, pool ok, breakfast fast ok, but the staff overall were fantastic. We left with gifts, smiles and hugs. Definitely recommend this hotel because of the location, quality and the brilliant people who work there. Thank you 😊

We loved our stay at Roza Palace. The cave interior was so unique and all the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having a simple breakfast in the morning with fresh made to order eggs. I loved that the location was a few minutes walk from the busier areas so it was quiet and peaceful to come back to. Id stay here again if in the area.
