We had an amazing 5-day stay. From the moment we arrived until we left, we were well taken care of by the staff. Friendly, caring and approachable. The rooms are all differently decorated in an eclectic and comfortable style. The dining room is spacious. The roof overlooks all of Cape Town. It’s such a treat to be here that you almost want to keep it a personal secret.

A delightful hotel with stunning views over Cape Town and toward Table Mountain. Wonderfully thoughtful details including books you might actually read piled on its many tables. The establishment is ‘dry’ because of its location in the historic Bo Kaap neighborhood, which is predominantly Muslim, but the hotel allows guests to bring their own drinks for sundowners and dinner in the restaurant. No corkage charged.

The hotel was wonderfully located in Bo Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, with a great view over the city. The hotel was of a high standard, with large rooms with lots of characters, clean and comfortable. The hotel had an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner options and the breakfast included in the room rate was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Cape Town.

Incredible staff, rooms and views

The view of the mountains was spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive, welcoming you from the moment you open the front door. They saw to our every need, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the grounds and rooms were immaculate. Fantastic stay, didn’t want to leave.

The staff really were 10/10. The hotel is so lovely and the food is amazing! I was so sad to leave. I would say best treatment from staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.
