Martino has created a wonderful comfortable home to go with the beautiful view. Ideally located for the town. Martino makes sure your stay is perfect, giving map plans and even taking consideration of my wife’s disability in his effort. An absolute pleasure, many thanks.

We loved our stay with Martino. Such a wonderful and helpful host. He gave us an outline of what to do, where to go and what to see. He even suggested places to eat. He responded quickly to any questions we had. Wish we could have stayed longer with him.

Our stay was fabulous. The parking was directly across the street, which was very convenient. We were a delightful stroll from great shops, restaurants, and all of of sites we hoped to visit. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautiful. The view was incredible. We spent every evening before dinner sitting on our terrace enjoying the sunshine and a glass of local wine. It was hard to leave for dinner! Our host was amazing.

Great boutique hotel with a wonderful hospitality. Great views and convenient parking. Easy walking distance to explore this amazing city.

This is a wonderful B&B in Matera. It is very unique, and the owner is kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and fun! The B&B is lovely. I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely boutique hotel that is newly renovated to take advantage of the unique caves in Matera. There is a beautiful view over the gorge. We spent 3 nights here and the lovely owner spent time with us each day curating a perfect itinerary for seeing Matera. There was free parking nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good. It’s about a 10 min walk into the main part of town, but it’s nice to be on the edge with the view and it’s super quiet.

We had a great stay at L'antica Conceria, Martino is an amazing host, and made our two night stay in the historic part of Matera very special. Apartments are modern, comfortable, and tastefully furnished, breakfast prepared and served by Martino is excellent. Location is perfect, right opposite from a pay car park which we used for our two days, with a peaceful small garden and amazing views over the river gorge. Martino’s knowledge of the historic city and its history made our stay very special. We highly recommend L'antica Conceria for your stay in Matera.

Martino made this hotel experience wonderful, and his knowledge and passion for the history of Matera are impressive. The hotel is located at the top of a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with views of the gorgeous canyon. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at L'antica Conceria.
