Front desk, bar, and dinner staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very service-oriented. Only exception was breakfast...a bit of a hectic and crowded food and coffee self-service arrangement with - no obvious line or natural flow so it easily devolves into a mishmash of people going down the tables in different directions, etc. Not a huge deal, but friendly and helpful staff could've eased the human traffic jams and created a pleasant vibe. Instead, their demeanor was sullen - sort of seemed unhappy to be there. When I asked one of them for help because the espresso machine needed emptying of the bin, she seemed annoyed but took care of it right away. Definitely uncharacteristic of the overall experience we enjoyed at the hotel. Comfortable beds and linens, great location for shopping, dining, and walking to the funicular to go up to the Alta Citta. A really great stay.

Brilliant hotel: lovely building and cloister garden, excellent standard room and breakfast. Friendly staff. I would love to return!

very unprofessional staff members.. i wanted to check in earky as i had an immediate family emergency the staff weren’t helpful at all and didnt offer me a refund for my booking inspite of explaining to them the problem.. will never stay again here and honestly wouldn’t recommend it.. the staff were extremely unprofessional and not polite even when asked for basic city attractions help

This was our favorite hotel of our Italy trip. Loved the atmosphere of the property and most of all the location. Highly recommended when staying in Bergamo.

Our room was spacious and clean. We made use of the on-site parking and experienced no issues. Breakfast was OK - limited continental but good quality. Negronis in the bar were fantastic!

The hotel is beautifully renovated old building, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is delicious but we did not like the SPA that is small and smell of chlorine, everything else was perfect!
