Je recommande cet hôtel, très bien situé dans la ville, pas trop loin du train. J’ai beaucoup aimé la ville de Newbury et ses habitants.

Drink prices expensive compared to surrounding bars.

Clean room and helpful staff.

Room was really nice and the staff were great, could do with a better fan then the one provided, luckily it wasn’t as hot as it has been recently!

Great location, spacious room

No aircon, a fan that couldn’t move air 30cm in front of it, hot hot night. False fire alarm at 3am. But a rather rude check-in. I appreciate long days, warm weather may not be the most conducive to a warm reception. I paid mate, you weren’t doing me a favour! Breakfast was nice. But better options to choose from in Newbury!

I would strongly advise that they install air conditioning into the rooms. The rooms are beautiful but very unpleasant in hot conditions, which would discourage me from booking in the summer.

This is a charming inn with a great pub. The only downside to my stay was that there was no air-conditioning during my stay, which was unfortunately during a heatwave.

Really enjoyable stay and I will stay again

Clean room and convenient parking, but no fridge or iron. In the middle of town with plenty of eateries.
