Not a bad place on a budget. Did have the broken shower handle many mentioned. Didn’t ruin my trip as you can still operate the shower. A/C was cold. Staff brought new towels promptly. Gentleman who checked us in was polite and helpful. Location was good. Plenty of stores next door. Easy in and out. Plenty of free parking.

You get what you pay for. The location was perfect for us. It was within a 15 minute drive to everything we needed. This was the beach, the civic center and the zoo. The staff was fine. They don't clean the rooms just the bathroom touch up. Which was fine. We just changed towels everyday. The room was run down. The shower had amazing pressure. The parking was ok. Hard to get a good spot, not a lot of spots for as many rooms. If your looking for a place to sleep and shower this is perfect. We did use the mini frig and microwave which are a plus. Overall it was great for us.

Upon arriving at the Travel Lodge, the guy that was at the front desk I guess for night shift had the worst attitude. Being charged 100 dollar security deposit you would think the room was at least put together well. When entering the room the curtains were broke off the hinges, and there was a gapping hole under the door. I took pictures and went back to the front desk guy to inform him of this and showed the pictures and the only thing he said was well I don't think this is a big issue but I'll go ahead and refund your money and you can go stay somewhere else. First of all you just charged 100 to make sure the room was not ruined and it's already messed up and that is the only way he wanted to accommodate the situation. This is definitely not the way you should treat someone especially when you work at a hotel. We came here to see our son graduate from the marines and not have a bad time. We will NEVER AGAIN stay in this place and will be writing other reviews on this place to warn others of the horrible treatment. Please, do something about this guy, he doesn't need to be working customer service!!!!!!!

Ample parking, very nice suite. Neighborhood kind of sketchy, would recommend security.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. The toilet kept flooding and we were told to go into the office and we were given a plunger, the blow dryer didn’t work, the couches were filthy with stains on them. The night staff person was rude and not very helpful. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

A/C fine. Nice fridge, microwave, tv, internet, bed. Old bath/shower, but it all worked well enough. No coffee in room and the coffee in lobby was very weak every time. Hot tea is a better option here. They had nice tea bags and hot water all the time in the lobby. Last day there I found out my hair dryer did not work and ants started coming out of the sink. I reported both so think they probably will fix the problems? The front desk guy looked like he cared. The floor had just been mopped when I arrived but it is best to wear foot coverings anyway. My feet still got dirty.

Good for the pice. Nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet for the most part. Area was decent and felt safe. Walking distance to shopping and convenient location. Would stay again.
