Street noise

Check in was smooth, be aware that you may need to go up or down some stairs. We did not get the room exactly as described (said one king and one double but both beds were the same size and as far as I could tell they were queens). It’s nice and quiet at the back of the hotel. Good heating, spacious. Only advice is to renovate the bathroom. Sink was cracked, mould between the tiles in the shower needs to be addressed, and tiled floor is a little slippery. I would stay there again as the space for the price was good. There is a washer and dryer so it’s great for a longer stay. Good place for a family.

Great room however very little to no natural light felt like we were in the dungeon. The outside area was dirty and a mess if they cleared and cleaned the area it would be nice to sit out there and have a cuppa. Otherwise everything else was great.

All good

Gordon Apartments is an absolute find - a gem of a property in probably my favourite part of Melbourne (the Paris end).

I have walked past Gordon House apartments several times and found it a fascinating heritage property. I have always wanted to stay there. I was not disappointed. It has a calm, relaxing and charming feel to it. Although I was a bit worried about the digital check-in experience, Courteney met me at the Cafe and assisted me to my room with courtesy and enthusiasm. I was given a complimentary room upgrade, which was very appreciated, and there were complimentary drinks in the fridge. The apartment was beautifully and tastefully furnished and reflected the period style of the hotel. It was comfortable and well-equipped with modern appliances. I felt safe and secure within the apartment hotel. The overall ambience was one of peacefulness and a calm oasis in the middle of the city. I loved the pool and pool area which was very tranquil and clean. Staying here was a lovely experience which I would happily repeat!

Great location, didn’t love being in the basement as no natural daylight, clean

Room was very clean and spacious. Good kitchen facilities. Enjoyed the snacks provided as well.

The room was spotless, beautiful setting and so accessible. Only downside is that a beautiful old building can be difficult to navigate.

Check in and digital key access is inconvenient. Great location. Pool wasn’t operational.
