Wonderful place to stay during a visit to Sintra.Everyone is warm and welcoming, specially Armie. She made the Best dinners in town, everything was fresh and eating on the patio in the woods could not be better! Rented the separate house and slept like a baby from the fresh air and quiet surroundings. Closer to the main attractions than staying in town, because you are out in the park that has all the castles. Sintra transportation logistics are difficult, because of the amount of visitors and small/old/hilly one-way roads, so plan ahead based on your preferences. I enjoyed walking/hiking, but sometimes needed an Uber or Bolt. The gardens and surrounding woods feel magical. Hope to stay again in the future.

Our stay at Quinta Velma was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the beauty of the location — peaceful, picturesque, and perfectly situated in Sintra for a romantic getaway - just down the hill from Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. Every bit of the property is charming and inviting - with stunning surroundings and a calm, cozy atmosphere. What truly made our experience magical, though, was the incredible hospitality. Our host Armie went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and special throughout our stay. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine warmth turned an already beautiful trip into something truly extraordinary and romantic. The food here is also amazing, breakfast and dinner. Everyone running an Air-Bnb should be striving to be this good. Our entire experience was relaxing, and filled with little moments we’ll remember for a very long time. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our return. We cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a romantic escape in an ideal location with exceptional hospitality.

Those houses were very personal and the hotel was impeccable.

Plotted in between the sights and central Sintra, this hotel is in a nice location. Be prepared for about a 10-15 min walk to Sintra and an uphill 25 min walk to the Moorish castle. Uber/Bolt are all around and quite convenient. The grounds are beautiful, the room and the main house were very nice and very clean and peaceful. No in room TV or fridge in our room and really, nothing of entertainment value in the evening here, so plan to stay in Sintra through the evening for that. Breakfast was great and the staff are all very helpful and kind.

We were looked after by Armie during our stay. Very helpful and friendly. We hired the electric bikes for the afternoon and did the Palace, Castle and Town. The room and breakfast were great. Thank you.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff, Armie, were wonderful. The breakfast was great and the place was spotless, welcoming and comfortable. It is in a great location for seeing the palace on top of the hill and the old town a bit down the road.

The staff are attentive and provide amazing customer service. The property is stunning.

Located in between National Palace and Moorish Castle. Path leads down the hill to Sintra. Perfect location.
