Comfortable, clean and friendly, helpful staff

Incredible place to stay with outstanding staff, amazing breakfast, and clean all around. Easy to walk to and from, with even easier access to bus stops.

Wonderful stay. The building is lovely and has the perfect, Scottish Country Estate feel. The bar is cozy, the breakfast delicious and all the staff are warm and welcoming. The location is very walkable from downtown Edinburgh - about 20 minutes or a quick, inexpensive Uber ride if the weather breaks. We would absolutely stay again.

Unique property and very comfortable. The staff was amazing. Really appreciated the reception staff and the bar staff. Loved this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff!

Great find !!!

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. It’s so beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The food at Abacus was delicious and the staff there were also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Scott.

Forgot that the 1st floor was up a level, so should have asked for rooms that would not require going up any stairs. Had trouble finding the place originally. The staff and hotel were great!

there was a minor computer issue at check in and the reception staff handled it calmly efficiently and wonderfully. at all times I felt that they were able to figure out and resin to e the issue. The staff was exceptional at all times but went beyond at reception.

Nothing but kind things to say about the staff and the atmosphere. Everything was so warm and comforting, and we had an absolutely impressive stay. Whenever we had questions, the staff were incredibly helpful. Amazing stay!
