We had such a wonderful stay at Alma during our first night in Zanzibar. They were able to arrange a driver for us from the airport, and it was a very smooth process. The rooms are beautiful, the beach gorgeous, and the food/drinks delicious. What stands out about this place, though, is its friendly service. Everyone was so kind, helpful, attentive, and ensured we had a magical time. Special shout-outs to Jamila at the front desk and Fathinely in the restaurant who took such extra great care of us. We will be back!

I stayed here in Jan 2026 and it was the most beautiful stay. From the moment I entered this property to the moment I left, everything was just wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. Clean, stylish, spacious and the service here was always good.

Great attention to detail

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni presso la struttura il cibo é stato davvero un plus, tutto il personale formato ed efficiente, pulizia nulla da dire, addirittura fanno un doppio intervento al giorno per ripristinare la camera, nulla da suggerire per migliorare, assolutamente consigliato per vivere un soggiorno curato attento e di gusto, grazie infinite a tutte le persone che rendono l’Alma resort un luogo dove passare le proprie vacanze e poter dire “sono stato in vacanza e nulla é andato storto “ complimenti per l’esempio di come dovrebbe essere una struttura ricettiva attenta, veramente complimenti! Trevligt boutique hotel med vänlig personal. Mysigt att det ligger på stranden. Ett plus var att få åka ut med hotellets fantastiska segelbåt och segla och snorkla.

Tolle Zimmer, super Pool, gutes Essen, entspannte Atmosphäre am schönen Strand. Service meist den vier Sternen entsprechend.

Hotellet ligger virkelig roligt. Alt er veldesignet og væres værelse var virkelig stort og velindrettet og flot design. Maden er et kapitel for sig selv og det samme gælder personalets venlighed, service og involvering. Det oversteg langt vores forventninger. Gratis bådture med hotellets egen trimaran med lokal besætning.

Alma är ett mycket fint hotell med en lång fantastisk strand perfekt för promenader när det är lågvatten. Hotellet har en trimaran som man kan boka för en 1-2 h lång seglats ut mot reven för att snorkla. Det var en av veckans höjdpunkter. En dag tog vi taxi ner till BeZanzibar hotell och åt lunch, promenad hem på stranden. Det var 6km och en trevlig utflykt. Hotellet hjälpte oss även att boka en resa till Pungume Island eller snarare sandbanken bakom ön. Båtresan dit är ca 1 h över öppen sjö. Jämför med snorklingen utanför hotellet, mycket bättre. Därefter bjöd kaptenen på en lunch med grillade skaldjur, pommes och sallad, rekommenderas :-) Två dagar åt vi lunch på närbelägna Scooby Doo, rekommenderas Utrymme för förbättringar; serveringspersonalen var stundvis förvirrad och hade svårt att leverera det vi beställde.

This small hotel is beautiful. The rooms are wonderful and very well stocked with all you need. The staff are very helpful and all spoke very good English. The food was amazing and very tasty, good selection of veggie stuff for the wife too. Overall just a great stay.

Had a great stay, loved the lunches and dinners. The chef had a dinner for me ready upon my very late arrival of 11 pm, which was very nice Friendly staff, quiet lovely beach, enjoyed the sail boat ride. Thank you!
