Overall a very nice stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to a metro station and only 10 mins walk to the HBF. Safe area, central. The only thing that lets the place down is some of its staff. Whilst check-in and check-out were fine, two members of staff working the Tuesday evening shift were particularly unfriendly. This is not uncommon for Germany - it is not the friendliest country in the world by any stretch of the imagination, but the staff are representatives of the brand (Moxy) and, having stayed at one of their hotels in the Netherlands earlier this year, I really had higher expectations. I was ignored by the girl at the bar who saw I needed assistance yet continued to load the dishwasher. It is almost as if my presence there was an imposition and an inconvenience. Not very nice. Again, I understand the cultural issues here, but please do better.

Breakfast

We only had a one night stay but it was the perfect stop over to rest on a road trip. Very comfortable and a great nights sleep, helpful and friendly staff. Our family room was excellent value too.

Moxy was amazing, will definitely visit again due to the great services. Everything was great including the staff and the hotel itself. Absolutely amazing service and very friendly staff. Great place :)

The guy who works the front desk during the day really made us feel welcome and comfortable the moment we walked in.

Simple perfect place.

Basically hotel, clean rooms, breakfast very limited and crowded.

Only stayed for one night, but thought the hotel was great. Modern, clean and cool with friendly, happy, helpful staff. Will definitely use it next time we are in Dortmund. Very walkable from main station too
