No kleenex in room

Stayed for a long weekend at Icon Duplo and I can't thank the staff enough, especially the concierge, who was super helpful in recommending restaurants and calling to book reservations for us. The hotel is very central and well located, with access to all the amenities. We had two different rooms during our stay, and both were modern, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of options.

One of our best stays ever! We loved this hotel. Our room was perfect - comfortable beds, crisp sheets, and towels, clean concrete floors, and spectacular air-conditioning. Our balcony windows opened up onto a fun Ribeira Street. We could see everything that was going on! The hotel itself is right in the heart of the historic city. Shops, restaurants, and everything you need is easily accessible by foot. And the staff were great. Incredible!

Nice room, nice staff but amenities were very weak - especially considering the cost of the room. Kleenex was only provided upon request! The hotel is in the historic district. The area is overrun by tourists, thus the high price for the room. Also, while the doors lock at night, the elevators don’t have a key access so anyone can get to any floor. Nice enough but I wouldn’t stay there again for the price, location, and lack of security.
