War sehr gut ind das Personal sehr nett

We had booked two nights at IVY Garden hotel between May 5th and May 7th. We do not feel that the reviews meet expectations and had a less than good experience. We stayed in room 406. At 9:00 pm we reported: -The heat was 27 degrees in the room and had not been lowered for 6 hours. Despite open windows. -The shower water was either scalding hot or ice cold. It was impossible to shower. -Wifi did not work. A male person from the reception went straight into the room without asking and my roommate (woman) was not fully dressed further into the room. The error was not fixed but the staff would talk to the manager. The next day we woke up in total heat. Spoke to the reception who was not accommodating when we wanted to leave the hotel. We wanted a refund for the next night and compensation for the first. We tried for 3 hours to get help from the reception but they refused. The male receptionist also refused to talk to us and did not meet our eyes. A terrible behavior to us as women and was experienced as an abuse of power. 3 hours later we chose to leave the hotel without full compensation. We got 137 Manat back out of 400. An incredibly bad customer service and we felt terribly unwelcome. That the hotel would also make a profit when we chose to leave due to problems that they could not fix, this was experienced even worse. They also said that it was our fault as we could have changed rooms the day before, which we tried without getting help.

Facilities at hotel were working perfectly. Only Turkish Hamam was not working, which was a bit frustrating, but overall service and quality of hotel was perfect.
