The staff are excellent from the Bell hop to the Concierge! We were there for a special occasion and recieved a very nice bottle of wine to enjoy in our room. Also at the Bar while waiting for our room to be ready I ordered a couple scotch on the rocks and in conversation with the bartender mentioned it was our 47th anniversary with that he gave us a very nice pour!
We enjoyed our stay and highly recomend the Monterey Plaza to all!

極佳 Amazing rooftop hot tubs, adults only (AWESOME) with a view of the bay & all of its wildlife, not to mention the toasty fireplace you can also enjoy.
Amazing staff at every turn.
Clean, comfortable, best sleep at a hotel, excellent amenities.
This is the type of (hotel) stay one can only dream about.
Zero complaints - impressed at every turn. Worth it’s value!

Great rooftop hot tubs, we saw an otter in the waters below! Loved the live music in the lounge too.
