The Campanile Paris Clichy has the vibe of a hotel of a sharp downward trajectory. The rooms are outdated, and the shower room / toilet was not particularly clean. When we arrived there was only 1 towel and the shower gel dispenser was empty. We asked reception for a refill and another towel we were handed a box and had to do it ourselves. Breakfast was a poor affair, with very little choice and the worst coffee I've had in a hotel. Only leaving we were asked to again pay the city tax which we had already paid on arrival and had to show our banking app as proof and even then the receptionist didn't want to believe we had paid. In summary we would not choose to stay here again and for a little bit extra could find somewhere a lot nicer to stay.

Few things to report, location is in a back alley near the less recommended locations if paris, so if you arrive at night you need to drag your bags through the alley from the drop off point. Next, there's cartoon p*rnography books on display in the lobby, accessible to all so definitely not family friendly. Third, room was incredibly dirty and not at all like the photos. The bed smelt so sour and bad if you so much as sat down the smell would waft from the sheets and mattress. We booked another hotel within 2 hours.

I was given the wrong room (one queen instead of two doubles), which was corrected on day two. The sheets were stained with bodily fluids, the carpet was very dirty, and there was some kind of residue smeared on the wall along the air vent. The staff were very helpful and apologetic but these experiences tarnished my stay.

It was located in a good place, the room smelled like wet/moldy clothes, maybe it was the carpet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The weather outside was cool, I didn’t need AC. Overall 3/5 - it was the smelly room that lost points and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, I could feel the metal springs.

Wonderful property.

Staff was incredible. The AC cranked and the WiFi was fast enough to easily stream Netflix and get work done without issue. Highly recommend. Will def be returning.
