This is a great location and has amazing character, quick bus to centre but also lets you see real Rome away from the tourist spots, could not recommend enough

We enjoyed the location and our room was clean and a good size for two. Love exploring around this vibrant foodie area in the evenings. Staff excellent and helpful

Really great property just off the busier part of Travestere, so it's quiet at night but accessible. Beds were comfy, wifi is great, and bathrooms were huge! Would definitely stay again

We loved our stay at the Hotel San Francesco. The entire staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Liz at reception gave us great recommendations, we enjoyed chatting with her. Smiley truly lives up to her name, lovely and helpful. We enjoyed apperitivos at the rooftop lounge and were never disappointed with the food, drinks and service. We appreciated that they offer breakfast since most of our party prefers having a nutritious full breakfast before getting those 10k steps a day. The rooms are clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay in Rome.

Please consider we only stayed one night. Staff was nice. Air conditioning in room was excellent. Room 406 had a gross stain in the bathroom that I was explained was some kind of glue they hadn’t been able to take off. Also, I saw a little bug on the bed our night there. My daughter woke up to find a creepy crawler on her pillow. The hallways carpet needs cleaning. Loved the location and the rooftop bar.

Room is very dated and could use an update and better linens

The San Francesco hotel lived up to its reviews! It was located off the beaten path from all the hustle and bustle of central Rome. The staff was absolutely delightful, informative, warm and extremely helpful! It was wonderful to walk a block into the heart of the local restaurants and wine bars. Get the breakfast each morning, it’s well worth it!
