Was not the friendliest hotel they claim they have air-conditioning but they don’t

I can only give 1 star because the staff at reception were generally pleasant. However, the hotel is terrible. You can tell that is was beautiful once upon a time. The floors in our room were dirty, there was mold in the shower, the shower drain was backing up and the beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was also a nightmare 😫

Hotel was a great location with easy access to a lot of public transport. Needs some TLC - Plug in bathroom loose on the wall, same as the flush button for the toilet, toilet was not fully secured to the floor, screen on shower door was fastened with cable ties so water ran out of shower. Check in took over 25 minutes as one person on front desk was interrupted by many other guests leaving me standing and waiting, then could not find the room I was assigned to stay in!

A longer walk from the station than we anticipated. There was no kettle in the room. However the staff were friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and clean, and reasonable breakfast.

Our first night was 2 twin beds in a room were air conditioning did not work facing the street. The worst on our trip. They changed us the next day to a room facing the courtyard which improved our stay. Then the toilet acted up. I tried breakfast one day, worse than on an airline and 5 euros. We expected a lot more.

We have a great stay here. Staff was very helpful

Nice hotel located in the historic district, very close to tram and bus stops with very helpful and attentive staff and included breakfast.

Staff was very good, ready to help and courteous.
