Would have preferred if the rooms were more maintained as most of the windows were broken and non functional.

It was ok

Clean room and great breakfast.

Priced better than others. Good location, easy walk to Chapel Bridge and all downtown sites. No A/C, balcony door and window broken and difficult to close. No fridge in room. Parking available for additional charge a block away.

Another European hotel with no air conditioning. The room was small but OK. Bed was uncomfortable. No ice machine. We asked for ice for a drink and we were given a dixie cup full of ice , maybe 5 cubes. The breakfast was good but should start earlier. The room had windows that opened up to a street below. There is no AC and it was stiffling in the room, 100 F, and to top it off there was noise all night long outside and a street party over the last two days we stayed that made it impossible to sleep. In the USA this would have been unacceptable and probubly a noise ordinance violation. These hotels know they have you and there is nothing you can do about it. I would never stay here again or any hotel in Europe again without AC. Wake up Europe its the 21st century not the 1200's even though much of the architecture looks like it is.

In very good location, breakfast good bonus. Unfortunately we travelled in heat wave so fan in room was not doing much and being on main road (busses passes every 20min till 1am) did not helped with our sleep.

The hotel was fine, although our room was smal for the price for 4 people. Biggest problem was no air conditioning during a record heat wave, so we entered a 35° room, with fans aimed at both sides of our space. The breakfast was excellent, and we all ate a hearty meal.

We stayed during some kind of festival, which we were unaware of but which pushed the price up. It was also 35°. Neither was the hotel's fault. But the door shutter was broken and so all the heat of the sun accumulated during the day, making the room even hotter than it should have been. The fan provided was pretty useless, and so we had a very uncomfortable night. The hotel is really dated and basic. The door chain was missing. The shower tiles had mold. It might have just about been okay for one night if it wasn't for the heat and the excessive price. It was mainly clean and is reasonably central. Breakfast was adequate.

Needs Aircon on hot days

Our stay here wasn’t great. Hotel reception weren’t very responsive to messages pre-arriving at the property. We had one very pathetic fan in the room when it was 35 degrees and it was full of dirt that blew out over us (filter was well overdue a clean)! VERY noisy with the road outside… would not recommend!
