Room was clean and comfortable. The location was very good, close to many tourist attractions. Staff very friendly!

The room was lovely the only problem was the noise from the Irish Pub below which lasted on the Saturday night until 2am. The breakfast was served round the corner at another hotel due to maintenance but that wasnt a problem.

Room 8 was the smallest room, double bed against the wall, no room to swing a cat, shower was so small, but very clean, cleaned every day, to a high standard, refurbished being carried out to the building, didn’t see any staff, had breakfast in the hotel Britannia , around the corner, also had to check in there and check out there too, overall wouldn’t stay there again

The property is completely misrepresented on Expedia. It is advertised as a hotel, but it is not a proper hotel — it’s just a half floor with a few rooms. There is: • No elevator • No WiFi • No water at times • No hot water • Loud construction noise None of this was properly disclosed in the listing. I specifically chose this place because it had a good rating on Expedia, but the actual conditions are extremely disappointing and very uncomfortable. This is not what was advertised, and I would not have booked it if the listing were accurate.

Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location near many historical sites

This hotel was in a perfect location. It was within walking distance of the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Check in process was great. Everyone was friendly and spoke English which was fantastic for us. I'm giving it a 4 because the noise from the bar below was quite loud several nights. Also the water for the shower would go really cold quite quickly.

The room was clean but basic. The bathroom was modern but had problems regulating the shower. The staff excellent. Breakfast could have had a bigger choice

Wonderful staff. Courteous and very attentive during our stay. Super great location nNow the bad newsThe elevator is broken and we had to drag our luggage upstairs. The shower is a nightmare. Extremely hot that changes to icy cold, back and forth. Terrible

Room was clean, and I loved that the AC unit worked properly! Shower was kind of small (but I'm kind of not small), and hot water was spotty at 6:00 am. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was out of service but thankfully Hotel Cortina is on the first floor. It's a convenient location in Rome and I would stay there again for a short stay.
