Perfect location, lovely rooms and wonderful staff. This was my second stay and I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was lovely. Helpful, friendly, bilingual staff; great location; quiet; pleasantly small. I'll certainly return.

Beautiful, tasteful rooms decorated in simple elegance. Soothing place to rest after walking around the city all day. We will stay again when in the Marais.

Well appointed rooms with high quality beds and spacious bathrooms. Friendly and very supportive staff ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. They were happy to make dinner reservations for us at two restaurants I wanted to try in particular. Lovely breakfast each morning. Room’s AC was very comfortable when the temperature was very hot outside. This is my third stay at the Charles V and it is our favorite place to stay in Paris. Neighborhood is perfect for walking, shopping, and eating.

Room and the property are just lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. It’s on a quiet street, walking distance to bus and metro, lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast offerings were good, although some fresh fruit other than apples would have been appreciated. For all those people writing about the size of the room, it’s like staying in NYC, so we weren’t put off by the size of the room. It’s quiet and low key but close enough to everything you want to see.

Absolutely marvelous! Perfect room, staff was amazing, and so convenient. We will not stay anywhere else in Paris going forward!

Everything was just right. Excellent and attentive staff.

This hotel is in a great location not too far from Notre Dame on the right bank of the Seine. There are good restaurants around the area and the hotel has a decent breakfast. The bed is very firm and the room is small, typical for Paris. My room had a bathtub.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. Only complaint was that our shower didn’t drain very well….but overall a sweet hotel to stay in.

Charles V was a wonderful hotel! Our room was beautiful and the hotel is located in a perfect location in Le Marais. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Pierre Louis at the front desk is an absolute joy and went out of his way to give recommendations, directions and transportation. Thank you for such a wonderful experience in Paris!
