Best hotel we stayed at during our whole trip to Thailand! Great service and beautiful room and property.

The room and the overall atmosphere was beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the attention to detail in providing an experience above the rest was very much appreciated. It is clear that the Gord takes pride in what they do, and I really appreciated that they put in the extra effort to be environmentally conscious too (it was nice to have water in glass bottles rather than plastic). This welcoming boutique hotel was the best stay we have had so far in Thailand.

Staff friendliness, quiet location for inside a city, clean.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was phenomenal. The location was ideal, close to everything and quiet/peaceful. Highly recommend staying here, we had a great time.

Great stay at the Gord Nuea! Clean close to everything great breakfast

The room was clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast wasn’t great - a small choice of cooked items that had to be ordered the day before. If you didn't want those it was basically toast, jam and a banana.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It is a clean, simple but adequate hotel. It is in a quiet lane but not far from the action. You order the main dish for your breakfast the night before and it is prepared when you turn up for breakfast. There is juice, coffee, tea, bananas, Thai oranges, bread, butter and jam laid out. Breakfast comes with the excellent/ five star sticky rice mango dessert. Nom , the proprietor was very polite and gave suggestions on what to see. The staff were all polite. All in, it was good value. You just have to get used to taking off your footwear on entering the building. Slippers are provided in the bedrooms. The coffee cafe , Pegasus, does a good dirty coffee.

This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Chiang Mai. It’s located within the old city’s walls and is close to all major attractions and excellent restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful and individually cooked to be served promptly. The room’s decor is very authentic and it’s well maintained. The stuff is attending and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Gord Nuea Boutique House in Chiang Mai. The location is perfect — right in the centre of the Old City and just a short walk to Wat Chedi Luang and the lively Sunday Night Market. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. The property itself is charming and cosy, run by a genuinely friendly couple who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The wife manages the hotel with great care, while the husband runs a lovely little café right in the front yard — a delightful spot to relax before starting your day. With only about 11 rooms, the boutique feel is strong. My room was impressively spacious, extremely clean, and very well maintained. The entire property is spotless, and I appreciated their no-shoes policy around the rooms and shared areas — it kept everything fresh and pristine throughout my stay. Overall, Gord Nuea Boutique House offers comfort, warmth, and a personal touch that really enhances the Chiang Mai experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in the Old City.
