TV wasn't working none the channels worked also there was another roach in the room

There was a roach in the shower

The staff was super nice but the surroundings were despicable. There was a throng of homeless men right across the street from the hotel and yet the city allows it bringing down the value of the neighborhood and this establishment. We were stuck with a loud couple next to us who argued nightly but the staff was notified and handled it swiftly. The cleaning lady wasn't scheduled to come daily so it was hit and miss as far as getting our room tidied up but they did provide clean towels and toilet paper daily. There was nowhere to sit in the room other than on the bed and nowhere to set down one's suitcase except for on the floor.

Driveway is narrow, only room for one direction either way at any time. The first room we were given smelled like smoke, but management gave us another room no questions asked. Lankershim Blvd tends to be noisy but that's not the buildings fault. Parking is adequate for a building of it's size. Otherwise you're parking on the street. A good place to get some sleep overall. Bed was noisy, so don't plan on getting wild. The whole building will know.

Staff was incredibly rude to me when I approached and asked about the amenities and shared with her that this room and property were not at all what I expected. There was not one amenity in the room. The night stand table didn't work, the towels were old, worn out and small. The bedspread had cigarette holes, there was a beer can under the bathroom sink, We left as it was truly substandard and we were not about to stay there. There were prostitutes in the back parking lot and I think this hotel is used for their customers. Also there was a building right on the other side of the wall with some type of spiritual community and they were playing loud music with drum kit and loud singing at 9 pm. Expedia should remove this place from it's website.

DO NOT stay at this place! It is gross unsafe and they have a lot of stastaying on property which looked like they lived there lots of people in and out of the rooms. Even prostitution I could see and man dressed as a woman trying to get my husband to come in his room! Dirty grimy rooms not updated at all. I had to check out early I felt so unsafe. I didn't sleep the night o stayed there! The property does not look like the pictures. AVOID this place like the plague!!!

Rented a no smoking room & as soon as I opened the door it smelt like heavy cigarettes. I have asthma and called the front office. They came and sprayed air freshener that lasted only 5 mins, I asked for a discount and they told me no
