Clean, modern and quirky accommodation in the centre of everything. The host quickly responded to any queries we had.

Benci House is a beautifully decorated guesthouse in an excellent location, just a few steps from all the main attractions. There is a shared space at the entrance with a lounge area and a coffee machine always available. It doesn’t have a traditional hotel reception; communication with the hosts is done via WhatsApp. For anything you need, you can also reach out to the staff at the café downstairs, where breakfast is served. A tip: if you have paid for breakfast, it is served from 9:00 a.m. as an international breakfast with table service. From 8:00 a.m., a simpler Italian breakfast with cappuccino and croissant is available. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to include breakfast with your stay.

Beautiful room, looks newly renovated. Great style. I loved the full size shower. Great location close to main museums and amazing restaurants. Will def book again.

We loved our stay at Benci! It’s in a prime location and surprisingly quiet, given it’s above a bar. Super clean, cute, and comfortable. If you have a larger checked bag be aware there are steps up to the guest house, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The bar downstairs (Moyo Bar) is also very hospitable and a great spot for an espresso or drink. We had a car and the parking garage Benci recommended was close and easy to find. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

There is a lot to love about this guesthouse and any critiques are more FYIs than true cons. As a guest house it isn’t like a traditional hotel but we loved it. Pros - staff was amazing. They used what’s app to communicate with no language barrier and were friendly and helpful. - free breakfast and serve yourself coffee - room was beautiful, the bed was so comfy and as we had an interior room, we didn’t hear any street noise at all. - loved the location near a trendier area away from the main tourist area. But still walkable from Tram 2 (but a bit of a hike!) Cons - second floor so not accessible - room was very small. We stayed two nights and had backpacks but if you are a heavy packer this may not be for you. - bathroom felt a bit dark. If you like brighter lighting to do your make up it may not be for you.

What a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. I loved the quirkiness of the room and coffee on the small roof terrace was very relaxing after long days of sightseeing. Sophia was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Spent three nights visiting Florence. A lot of attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. Shopping, David,, etc. Enjoyed our day.

Gorgeous tiny gem of a hotel - great design, lovely service, delicious breakfast - would absolutely stay again and look forward to returning!

Lovely place to stay with great service. We arrived by car, and Sofia prearranged our garage entrance and also called an hour ahead so the car was ready for us. Sofia also helped us make a reservation to a restaurant that was fully booked. The room was beautiful and comfortable and clean. Breakfast at a cafe downstairs was also really good with eggs/bacon options. The location was great, we did not hear the club downstairs, as mentioned by other reviews.
