The location was great, connecting with tram just across the street. Ample breakfast provided for 19 CHF. But if you take advantage of bundled rate of adding breakfast when you register on-line, it is a much better deal at 12 CHF!

Very budget hotel! Very small room- no a/c to speak of, so bring fans. No amenities to speak of- the bar isnt an actual bar- you order from reception. Excellent breakfast, but it closes early. No restaurant as advertised, but snacks-

The room was very clean and was about a 20 minute walk to nearby shops. A tram stop was less than 5 minutes away, hotel offers a free travel card.

Staff - first and foremost. 10* - welcoming and helpful. Convenient location, just around the corner from a tram stop. Fast wifi. Just ideal for what I needed for a Basel stay.

The staff at reception and the bar were phenomenal, truly excellent. However, there was noise everywhere: doors, footsteps, even the bed moving on other floor. We were waking up every 15 minutes. The pillows were not comfortable either.
