It is not a 5 , 4 or 3 star hotel, no help with the our luggage on arrival, the lady at check in barely spoke to us, she obviously wanted to do something else . We had a one bed suite booked and it was dirty, tired . The room was freezing , reception sent an engineer who said that we needed to open the window , but at 11pm we realised if we open the window the A/C stops , so we slept dying of heat . Our wake up call was 15 minutes late . Anyway probably my worst Accor stay, I should have booked the Ibis next door I guess .

I booked two non-smoking rooms and requested that they be adjacent, as I was traveling with my family. Unfortunately, one of the rooms reeked terribly of tobacco; when I asked to change it, I was told no adjacent rooms were available, so I had no choice just to accept it. My family and I had stayed at this hotel over a year and a half ago and found it excellent, but I would not recommend it now. However the staff were excellent.

A special mention goes to Alaa from the staff, who displays extraordinary professionalism, total attention and dedication, and is always on hand Thanks for all what you do Sure that will be my hotel home

We unfortunately only stayed overnight. It is located so close to the airport, and the room was massive and had every amenity you would want. The staff were so lovely and our room was spotless

Great stay at Grand Mercure Dubai City Hotel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. Thanks

My family checked in we asked for bed fit 4 people there’s was only one bed to fit 2 adults and 2 minors , the shower leaking water every time Turn it one last time was way better experience this time very bad experience

Great hotel, only minutes from the airport and not far from the mall. My only complaint is the staff. Everyone has this weird cold personality. Nothing felt welcoming. Thank goodness I was only there for a day on my layover or I would’ve checked out and brought my money elsewhere.

Staff are amazing and looked after us when our flight got cancelled.
