Really charming hotel with a beautiful view. The dinner experience at the Vista restaurant was impressive even though it was very, very expensive. The shower was the best feature of the room.

Stunning property on a beautiful sandy beach. Hotel was welcoming and warm. Room was so so pretty and special. Food was great. We loved our few days there.

This hotel can barely be considered a hotel. It’s a 5 star ++++ experience where everything from the staff, food, amenities and location make you feel like a VIP all day long. It is located on a busy touristic strip, but once you cross the iron gates, you are cut of from the rest of the world and transported into absolute luxury. Simply perfect.

This is a beautiful spot and an excellent hotel. The concierge and front desk team were excellent with lots of great suggestions. The reason for four stars instead of five was. 1) we were in a satellite building, and not the main structure, and although it was very nice, there was no way of knowing that that was what we were booking. The website basically shows the beautiful old structure of the hotel, but does not show that separate building. 2) the hotel is set back from the main street by a gate, so there is a sense of privacy, but the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a fairly touristic street. Once again the website here is a bit misleading, as prior to arriving we thought we were in a fairly secluded area.

This was by far my best hotel choice I have ever made! The staff were amazing and the hotel was so beautifully done! The spa had the best massage I have ever had! The breakfast was perfection! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Canadian here. After 17 days of touring Portugal, this final stop was the icing on the cake. Opulence around every corner! Gated, beautiful location right on the beach. The pool area is exactly what you’d expect from a five star hotel. Breakfast overlooking the beach was magic. For my Canadian friends, think a smaller version of one of our CN hotels. Luxurious.

Bela Vista was ideally located next to the beach, but an oasis of calm and with Portuguese character. Excellent staff, lovely pool and outstanding dining.
