As soon as you open your car door, you are enveloped by the peace and quiet with only the birdsong and insect symphony to be heard. We stayed in Sally Wattle which has a wonderful double shower and aircon - note that this cabin doesn’t have a spa. The carport is close to the cabin so easy for bringing in your supplies and luggage. We could not see nor hear the nearby cabin with whom we shared the double carport. The owners were helpful and quick to assist with rectifying some issues that we had with the comfort of the cabin which was greatly appreciated. There are DVDs, card and board games provided. Plenty of additional items provided such as insect repellent, seasoning and cooking oil, alfoil and glad wrap plus tea towels. Maleny is not too far away for meals or there is a pleasant local cafe nearby for breakfast or lunch. But there are plenty of amenities available for self-catering in the cabin too. A great location for relaxing and watching the birds as you sit on the deck overlooking the dam.

Room was clean and stocked with the basics. The owners were lovely and responsive to anything we needed. Gave 4 stars as the cottage itself is looking a bit dated.

Great girls weekend away accomadation. Cosy and clean. Owners were lovely. Would highly recommend.

We had a very relaxing stay, so many birds can be seen from just stitting on the balcony.

Would be even better if roof covered full balcony area.

Lovely surrounds of the cabins with walks and lots to explore. The donkeys were great to visit and feed.

Easy checkin via a text before arrival. Fantastic location. Was expecting a Jetted Bath but got a double shower instead. There were a lot of bugs in the cottage upon arrival. It was endless. If you like nature, you will love this cottage. Dirty sheets encountered first night but remedy quickly by reception next day. No Wifi but internet access available for emergency at reception. This includes only having access to local tv….as far away as Darwin! Encouraged us to roam the surrounding area - Quadbiking and Maleny Botanical Gardens…great experiences but outside if this we sat every night on the cottage balcony and played cards. Something we wouldn’t do at home with every known device available to us. This was nice for the soul. One other thing I would like to say, if you need a firm bed to be romantic this is not your cottage. Prepare to sink to the middle, holding on like mountain climbers. Overall, we enjoyed our experience in Witta/Maleny, the good, the bug and the ugly.
