Pension Sofi is a hidden gem in Prague. Although we are seniors, we didn’t mind using public transport, which is free! Plan your route ahead.
The location is quiet and comfortable. The only downside was tugging our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs off the street. Phone access is necessary for an entry code. This was our second stay.

The room was just what we needed for our short stay. The bed was huge, plenty of room to hang our clothes and a big chest of drawers with a tv on top. Everywhere was clean. I was happy with the cleanliness of the toilets and showering facilities. It’s in a lovely quiet area, near to a shop and Chinese restaurant. The Uber into Prague was about £6.

The person who greeted us allowed us to drop our bags prior to check-in, which allowed us to explore the area and get acclimated to our surroundings. The kitchen had a microwave sink, and a hot pot. Having access to a stove would’ve been helpful. The shared toilet and shower rooms were clean.Staff was friendly and kind. The room was clean and offered drawers and hanging options for clothing. There was a a table and 2 chairs in the room. The only draw back was that the paint on the wall would leave residue on clothing if you happened to rub against it.
