I stayed in a loft which next time I will DEFINITELY stay in a balcony! It was still beautiful. I had a wonderful time there. Staff was incredible I will be returning. And the hotel is in the middle of downtown! Right around the corner from bourbon Street.

This was the coolest hotel room we have ever stayed in!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful and everything was spotless clean. Beautiful property!! I recommend the suites, you wont be disappointed. Love this place!

Bugs and dust.. please clean with and exceptional rating I did expect better.

Goth girl heaven

Here's the thing - Olivier is not a hotel, it's a home. If you're not comfortable with a "crash at your friend's house" vibe, then you need to go somewhere else. That being said, this place was amazing for my husband and I's 11th anniversary. Beautifully decorated, amenities when and where you need them, cozy, quiet, and walkable to nearly everything a tourist is looking for in NOLA. I felt safe and happy 100% of the time. Let me be clear - there are some holes in the towels (but they are perfectly clean), the drain in the shower has some rust (dude the place is hundreds of years old, get over it), roaches are in the courtyard (you're in the heart of New Orleans, so don't kid yourself into thinking they shouldn't be there), and you are given a physical key to keep track of. If you're too bougie to accept these things, then move on so the rest of us can enjoy the break from suffocating modern minimalism. Only the realest reals crash here and love it - so figure out your lane and have a great time in the Big Easy.

Every little thing about this property was amazing. The history, the uniqueness, the room, the staff, the cats! The views from level three and four. Maybe even ghosts(which we did not encounter). Location was perfect! 108 was spacious and nice and cool. If ever to return, we will DEFINITELY stay there again, even if there are so many other unique stay options. I think we were most disappointed to leave the property over visiting NOLA in general.

I love staying here! The staff are always friendly and the cats make it feel like home. The room I stay in is charming and fits perfectly with the French Quarter atmosphere. It is also within walking distance of everything; restaurants, pubs, shopping, museums/sights, and the street trains.
