Lovely Junior Suite overlooking the square. Excellent how the hotel has integrated with the old building.
We ate in the restaurant and although the dining room was a bit bright and lacked some atmosphere the food and wine was exceptionally good and so was the service.
Parking was easy and safe.

超赞 Wonderful hotel in historic building that has been fully modernized. While the rooms are large and roomy even by U.S. Standards, they are too modern and don't fully reflect the history of the building. Overall, very good location and excellent stay. I think they just went a bit too far in modernizing it and left out some of the medieval and renaissance charm it once hand.

The hotel was perfect and a real wow factor when you first see it. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the old town, so great location. We arrived into Leon by train and there were no taxis, and a long line of people. We ended up walking to the hotel, as you cannot order a taxi to the station ( a very strange system) and no uber or bolt. Its only 20 minutes walk, but if you have a lot of luggage it may not be so easy

Breakfast was delicious with so many fresh local options. Parking was safe. The Parador León was exceptional with its grand staircase, ancient architecture and its unique library, courtyard statues of St. James, etc. The huge plaza outside the hotel is relaxing for a stroll and don’t forget to stroll over the 2,000 year old bridge next to the hotel and along the wide River walk. We love the Parador León Hotel in Spain and its location.
